Role Description
The Marketplace Manager / Marketplace Specialist / Coordinator is a full-time hybrid role based in Singapore, with the possibility of working remotely part-time. The role involves overseeing the curation and coordination of marketplace participants for the San Diego Climate Week. Responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with event requirements, facilitating communications, and developing promotional strategies for the marketplace. The role also encompasses logistical planning, monitoring vendor setup, and ensuring a seamless experience for participants and visitors.
Qualifications
- Vendor and relationship management experience, including the ability to build and maintain partnerships.
- Event planning, coordination, and logistical management skills to ensure smooth operations.
- Marketing and promotional planning expertise to attract participants and promote the marketplace's success.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in digital tools and collaboration platforms; experience with CRM or event management software is a plus.
- Passion for environmental sustainability and climate action, with knowledge of issues and trends in the field being an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, event management, marketing, or relevant field is preferred.
