About the Role We are looking for an experienced China Market Student Recruitment Director to lead our student recruitment business from China to Singapore. You will manage a 5-10 person sales team in China, drive revenue growth, and provide expert guidance on public and private education systems in both Singapore and China. This role requires monthly travel to China HQ (at least once per month).
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and performance-manage a sales team of 5-10 China-based consultants, both remotely and during monthly visits
- Drive revenue growth by owning China market enrollment targets and expanding partnerships with international schools, private schools, and agencies
- Train the sales team on Singapore and China education pathways to enhance advisory capabilities
- Manage complex client cases by applying expert knowledge of education systems
- Coordinate cross-border activities including monthly travel to China for business reviews, key meetings, and team training
Required competencies and certifications
- Master degree minimum
- Ability to travel to China at least once per month
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in study abroad or international education
- 2+ years of direct experience managing a sales team of 5 or more people
- Knowledge of Singapore public school system (AEIS, O/A Levels, polytechnics, public universities)
- Knowledge of Singapore private school system (international schools, private universities, foundation)
- Knowledge of China public school system (Zhongkao, Gaokao)
- Knowledge of China private school system (international curricula, private K12, Sino-foreign programs)
