About the role:
You will be a part of a winning team that plays to win, is hungry for growth and have fun along the way. This role is based in Singapore and will be reporting to the Marketing Lead SEA.
You will be part of a multi-functional and diverse team, with varying points of view and capabilities to strengthen. The role will also be working closely with the APAC regional marketing team.
- Drive profitable growth and accelerate market share in key categories that have a strong growth agenda and we have right to win
- Lead category strategy through understanding local consumer insights and use-cases, competition landscape and category trends
- Plan and execute locally relevant marketing activation, across content, media, influencer and PR activation.
- Align Versuni's portfolio roadmap and launch timelines for Singapore
- Collaborate closely with local cross-functional teams, APAC marketing teams and local agencies
What you will be driving impact on:
Category Strategy & Consumer Insights
- Owner of local consumer understanding in habits and motivations, usage and behaviour, consumer trends
- Identify key business drivers across portfolio, marketing, distribution, visibility etc
- Define and own business objectives, marketing objectives and communication objectives
- Own portfolio roadmap and new product launch calendar, ensuring product-market fit and relevant, competitive price points
- Lead cross-functional relationships with sales, trade, media, supply chain, consumer care teams. Includes delivery of trade story, new product launch proposals
- Partner closely with APAC team across strategic planning proposals, innovation and activation plans
Marketing Activation
- Own local end-to-end marketing plan to ensure best in class 360 activations across consumer touchpoints, such as paid social, organic social, influencer and PR activation
- 12 months marketing calendar across product launches and marketing activations
- Working with media lead, briefs media and influencer/PR agencies from planning to execution
- Lead allocation of marketing spends within category, ensuring content and media efficiency, meeting marketing and media KPIs
- Bring local consumer insights and use-cases to live through locally relevant content, global content localization and adaptations
- On an ongoing basis, identify key learnings including target audience, creative and platform performance. Taking the lead in sharing learnings, both locally and with APAC team.
The Skills and Knowledge you'll bring:
- Minimum 7 years experience in Marketing
- Minimum degree (or local equivalent) in Marketing/ Business
- Knowledge in commercial strategy and portfolio optimization, brand and product marketing, media planning including digital / online marketing
- A growth mindset with an entrepreneurial approach.
- Demonstrated Strong Stakeholder Management Capability
- Thrives in a cross functional environment, experience leading cross functional teams
- Action orientated, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to collaborate constructively and focus on multiple priorities.
- Self-driven and resilience with a can-do attitude - embodies an owner's mindset with a strong commitment to contributing to the success of the organization
