Job Description:
1. External Brand Representation:
Act as the company's spokesperson, representing the company at public events, media interviews, and other external engagements. Deliver the brand philosophy, strategic planning, and relevant information accurately and clearly to uphold the brand image.
2. Media Relations Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with local Southeast Asia and international media (including newspapers, magazines, TV, radio, and online platforms). Conduct regular communication and engagement to expand media resources.
3. PR Event Planning and Execution:
Plan, organize, and execute various brand and PR activities, such as new product launches, promotional events, and themed brand campaigns, to enhance brand awareness and influence.
4. Brand Image Building and Communication:
Develop PR and brand communication strategies. Based on market trends and business needs, promote the brand image through diverse channels to improve brand reputation.
5. Crisis Communication Management:
Monitor market trends and media coverage to identify potential brand crises. Develop and implement crisis communication plans to minimize negative impacts.
6. Market Intelligence Collection and Analysis:
Collect, organize, and analyze PR industry trends, competitor information, and consumer feedback in the Southeast Asia market to support brand strategy development and adjustment.
7. Internal Communication and Coordination:
Maintain close communication and collaboration with internal departments (e.g., brand, product) to ensure brand and PR activities align with the company's overall strategy.
Education and Major:
Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Public Relations, Journalism & Communication, Marketing, International Relations, or related fields.
Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years of relevant brand and PR experience, including at least 2 years of PR experience in Singapore. Prior experience as a brand spokesperson is a plus.
Language Skills:
Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to deliver speeches and create written content in both languages.
Proficiency in other Southeast Asia languages is a plus.
Professional Skills:
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Able to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent event planning and organizational skills, capable of independently managing large-scale PR events.
Sharp market insight and analytical skills to stay abreast of market trends.
Proficient in various PR tools and techniques, such as using media databases and writing press releases.
Personal Attributes:
Strong sense of brand awareness and responsibility, with a passion for PR work.
Ability to perform under pressure and handle crises effectively.
Well-presented with a strong public presence and personable demeanor.
Other Requirements:
Familiarity with Singapore's local culture, legal regulations, and PR industry standards. No record of professional misconduct.
Must be a Singapore citizen or a Singapore Permanent Resident (PR).
