The company has established itself as a pioneer in the trendy toys and collectibles sector, integrating art, pop culture and innovation to develop respected brands. As it grows internationally, the company is seeking a motivated and strategically oriented individual to fill the position of Marketing Manager for the Singapore and Malaysia markets, based in Singapore.
This individual contributor role reports functionally to the International Go-To-Market Director and works with the international team and local retail management to ensure a cohesive strategy for market entry and retail expansion.
The selected candidate will play a key role in developing and executing go-to-market strategies aimed at enhancing brand awareness and driving revenue growth across various channels; and ensuring that all marketing initiatives align with business objectives and resonate with the target audience.
The preferred candidate should possess a strong understanding of marketing principles and excellent project management abilities to oversee the launch of new stores, products and campaigns. Individuals who are results-oriented, have a solid marketing background and demonstrate success in go-to-market strategies are invited to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for launching new products, brand promotions, in-store events, pop-up activities and public relations initiatives.
- Collaborate with shopping malls, event organisers and retail partners to secure venues and ensure effective events execution.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities, including performance tracking and recommendations for improvement.
- Create marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital and social media, with support from agencies.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics, providing recommendations for optimisation.
- Oversee the development of marketing materials, including web content, visual merchandising and promotional materials.
- Manage the marketing budget to ensure effective resource allocation and return on investment.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, media partners and industry influencers.
Requirements:
- A degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in marketing or go-to-market roles.
- A proven track record of successfully launching products and driving market growth.
- Strong analytical abilities, with the capability to interpret data and market insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in storytelling.
- Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media and SEO strategies.
