Role Description
We are looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Marketing Manager to help accelerate our growth journey. This is a high-impact role working closely with the Founder and Creative Director, combining performance marketing, commercial strategy, and brand execution.
Our ideal candidate: You must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment and taking ownership of measurable results. Your responsibilities will be to build and grow our key sales channels across e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, offline retail networks, and cross-border markets.
Range of responsibilities:
- E-Commerce Growth: Drive sales across key online channels e.g. Shopee, Lazada, RedMart, Shopify, TikTok Shop; optimise listings, execute campaigns, monitor performance and liaise with platform account managers.
- Content & Brand Execution: Work with Founder and Creative Director to develop campaigns, translate brand storytelling into revenue-driving content, support short-form video and livestreams; confidence in appearing on camera / features when required.
- Lead Marketing Calendar plan: Develop annual marketing calendar aligned with festive seasons, promotional periods and launches; coordinate assets and execution.
- CRM & Retention: Develop CRM systems (email, loyalty, referral programs), grow customer base, improve retention and lifetime value, develop VIP reward programs.
- Offline Channel Growth: Expand presence in pet shops, grooming shops, and dog schools; support sell-through via sampling and marketing materials.
- Modern Trade Support: Work with buyers for physical channels to support listings, promotions and in-store activations.
- Cross-Border Expansion: Drive growth in overseas e-commerce channels (e.g. Shopee, Amazon), lead market testing for selected EU/US markets and develop structured market entry roadmap.
Requirements:
- 25 years proven track record in e-commerce / digital marketing.
- Strong operational knowledge of marketplaces and Shopify.
- Data-driven mindset with strong commercial awareness.
- Comfortable working in a startup environment.
- Willing to travel to Tuas when required.
- Confident, proactive, and not shy on camera.
- Strong team player with growth-oriented attitude.
- Passionate about pets (pet owners preferred but not required).
Working arrangement:
- Monday to Friday, 9am 6pm (flexible working hours).
- Occasional weekend work required during major campaigns.
