As a rapidly expanding e-commerce brand with a strong digital footprint and loyal following across Southeast Asia, we're now entering an exciting new phase. In line with our regional growth plans, we are establishing operations in Indonesia and are looking for a dynamic and driven Marketing & Brand Manager to build our brand footprint from the ground up in Indonesia.
Role Overview
We're looking for a self-driven individual contributor who can build structure from the ground up and take full ownership of local marketing for Indonesia. You'll shape market-specific strategies, grow brand visibility, and drive customer engagement across online and offline channels. This role suits someone energetic, people-oriented, creative, and highly organised.
Key Responsibilities
- Localise and execute Indonesia-focused marketing strategies
- Build brand awareness across social media, partnerships, influencers, events, and PR, and maintain a strong, consistent brand identity.
- Identify and develop local partnerships, act as a brand ambassador at events and networking sessions, and conduct ongoing market and competitor research.
- Plan and execute campaigns, product launches, promotions, pop-ups, and offline events while ensuring alignment with the SG head office.
- Coordinate with creative teams on visuals and content, bring fresh and trendy ideas tailored to Indonesian audiences, and ensure timely delivery.
- Track KPIs, measure ROI, prepare reports, use data insights to optimise future campaigns, and manage marketing budgets with accountability for spending and P&L impact.
Requirements
- 35 years experience in marketing or branding; Shopee setup experience preferred.
- Background in retail, fashion, beauty, or lifestyle industries is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Indonesia's consumer and digital landscape.
- Confident, outgoing communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised with strong project management skills.
- Creative, trend-aware, and up-to-date with fashion and social media culture.
- Comfortable with data analysis and performance reporting.
- Able to work independently in a hybrid setup with occasional travel.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
