Job Title: Marketing Manager - Mini Mart
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and creative Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts for our Mini Mart, which specializes in groceries, nuts, and everyday household items. The ideal candidate will be responsible for increasing foot traffic, boosting customer loyalty, improving brand awareness, and growing sales through local promotions, digital marketing, and in-store campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Local Marketing Strategy
- Develop and execute location-specific marketing strategies to attract nearby customers.
- Understand local market trends, customer preferences, and competitor offerings.
- Plan seasonal and festive promotions (e.g., Ramadan, Christmas, Back-to-School).
2. Digital Marketing & Social Media
- Manage social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc.) to promote new products, offers, and store updates.
- Run local advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads) to drive store visits.
- Maintain and update the store's online presence, including business listings on Google Maps and delivery platforms.
3. In-Store Promotions
- Design and implement attractive in-store promotions and signage.
- Collaborate with suppliers for joint promotions and product sampling.
- Create point-of-sale materials (flyers, shelf talkers, discount tags).
4. Customer Engagement & Loyalty
- Launch and manage customer loyalty programs to encourage repeat visits.
- Collect customer feedback and analyze buying behavior to tailor marketing efforts.
- Organize small events (e.g., nut tasting day, cooking tips session) to enhance community engagement.
5. Vendor and Supplier Coordination
- Coordinate with suppliers for marketing materials, product displays, and promotional funding.
- Negotiate special deals or bulk discounts to create marketing opportunities.
6. Reporting & Budgeting
- Monitor sales performance linked to marketing campaigns.
- Track campaign ROI, foot traffic, and customer engagement metrics.
- Manage the marketing budget and report on performance to the store owner/management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in retail marketing, preferably in grocery or FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of local market dynamics and customer behavior.
- Experience with digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
- Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
