Support relationships and interactions, optimising internal resource, supply chain, and external market opportunities following direction from the General Manager Sales, Regional Marketing Manager, Senior Manager Planning and/or the Senior Manager Sales Operations.
Additionally coordinates reporting requirements to BMA (and MDP directly) and prepares MSC and Owners Council documentation.
- Demonstrates an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
- Demonstrates commitment to the BHP Billiton Charter and Code of Business Conduct.
- Provides necessary preparatory documentation and liaises to facilitate contract negotiations with suppliers and customers
- Prepares contracts for suppliers and customers (for Sales Operations MM).
- Manages optimisation of internal resource, supply chain, and external market opportunities (for Sales Operations MM)
- Collects relevant market information from external interactions and exchange with relevant key internal relationship
- Prepares reports for JV stakeholders
- Prepares documentation for Marketing sub-committee and Owners Council as required
- Undertakes performance analysis and reporting
- Identifies improvement opportunities
- Can fulfil operational requirements of DTS, TPL and Exposure signoffs as required,
- Represents the Trading and Marketing Unit externally stakeholders, as needed, to create a positive external image of the Company.
- Assists the General Manager Sales / Regional Marketing Manager / Senior Manager Sales Operations / Manager Transportation with projects as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in logistics/ business/ management/ commerce and/or equivalent
Experience & Technical Competencies
- 5+ years working experience in sales, supply chain, operations, or commercial management in an international environment
- Computer literate
- SAP experience highly recommended
