Job Description

Responsible of the marketing management for her/his zone, she/he provides a point of contact for local equipment sales organization and global product managers on the design and production of internal and external product related to all of the Group's product and solution portfolios. Responsible for upstream analyses and customer visits to define their needs in terms of portfolio evolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Concentrate and communicate to global product marketing management team and local zone team economic and technological intelligence information to keep abreast of market developments and trends.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap and the new project strategic plan and having them validated by the Management
  • Propose, validate and deploy internal communications and training with sales teams, particularly to support the launch of a new product or a change to an existing product and ensure its success
  • Formalize and validate all product documentation and the added value brought by the product to the market (customer benefits, product advantages, technical characteristics)
  • Manage and develop the Customer Relationship Management strategy to ensure the best and most comprehensive understanding of customer knowledge expectations and customer acquisition and retention mechanisms
  • Evaluate and potentially assist subsidiaries and equipment's sales team on technical request, product support during events, market and competitor's information.
  • Contribute and deploy zone product communication and training with sales teams and support special internal sales and or customer events.
  • Organize and conduct the relevant market surveys to identify market's expectation: customer and final user needs, ergonomics/design, pricing information, competition trends.
  • Set up a local marketing business plan together with Subsidiary GMs to ensure the future growth of the group products and solutions. Manage and report local 4P marketing strategy by giving support to the global product manager in the definition of a product positioning and a market mix (product, price, , distribution) in line with the economic and technological issues as well as with the strategic development of the company.
  • Participate in the machine's continuous improvement with the central product marketing management and the serial-life product organization by collecting the local relevant market needs and potential.
  • Follow the group progress of NPD (New Product Development) accordingly group requirements of commercial launches (Product & Solution ROADMAP). Contribute of the machine's value proposition implementation and deploy it locally in her/his zone.
  • Reporting regularly and effectively to his/her manager
  • Possibly participate in innovation internal review and report potential innovative marketing value proposition.
  • Possibly having to perform other tasks depending on business needs.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 10 Years of experience in product management of aerial work platform (AWP) industry
  • Years of experience in the sales and conducted and coordinated customer review
  • Educational background as engineer will be ideal but electrotechnical or mechanical background completed with marketing or business school is acceptable
  • Language skills: English and ideally fluent in Chinese or French in order to assist some translation and support to internal and external customers when it is needed.
  • Curious and proactive profile (leadership, initiative)
  • Good analytical, planning and organizational skills
