Job Description

Interested in the psychology of friendships, relationships, and human connection

Looking to build a strong marketing portfolio while working on a purpose-driven brand

Friendzone is looking for a Marketing & Communications Intern to work with us to create meaningful content that helps young adults build healthier friendships, stronger relationships, and richer social lives — while growing a movement around friendships and community building in Singapore.

This role is ideal for Communications, Marketing, Community Development, or Social Science students who enjoy turning research and insights into engaging, relatable content.

We're seeking someone proactive, creative, and execution-focused — someone who wants ownership, not observation. You'll help to create engaging content and campaigns that bring people into our events, where meaningful conversations and friendships can begin.

What You'll Work On:

  • Content strategy & short-form video creation (IG, TikTok, LinkedIn)
  • Campaign development & marketing execution
  • Event marketing & live coverage at events
  • Creating educational and hopeful content about friendship skills, mindsets, and relationship building
  • Researching psychology and relationship science related to friendships, belonging, and social connection.
  • Translating research insights into short-form content of various formats (videos, captions, carousels, telegram posts)
  • Documenting community stories and insights from Friendzone event
  • Community storytelling & case studies
  • Platform growth & engagement
  • Basic SEO optimisation
  • Partner coordination for marketing campaigns

What You'll Learn:

  • How to create engaging content and communicate ideas about friendships, relationships, and social behaviour in simple and relatable ways
  • How to develop content strategy and campaigns that influence social behaviour
  • How to build and grow a purpose-driven brand and community
  • Real-world experience in marketing, storytelling, and digital platform growth

What Makes This Internship Different:

  • Work on a mission-driven brand focused on friendships and community
  • Exposure to brand-building from strategy to execution
  • Real ownership over projects and creative ideas
  • Opportunity to facilitate conversations at community events
  • Tangible portfolio outcomes
  • Direct mentorship and feedback

Internship Details:

  • Start: June 2026 onwards
  • Format: Hybrid
  • Commitment: Full-time or Part-time
  • In-person requirement for full-time: 1–2 weekdays per week + attendance at 6–7 events per month (weekday evenings or weekends) (pro-rated for part-time)
  • Remuneration: $1,000 per month for university student, $800 for pre-university student (pro-rated for part-time)

If you're studying Marketing, Communications, Media, Psychology, Business, or a related field — and want to build something meaningful — we'd love to hear from you.

When applying, tell us which areas excite you most and what you hope to learn and build during your internship.

Please send us your CV and cover letter to [Confidential Information] or apply through this link on LinkedIn!
