The Marketing Director will lead the company's marketing strategy to strengthen brand positioning, support business development, and drive project acquisition. This role focuses heavily on B2B marketing, tender support, and building relationships within the construction and infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan aligned with business growth and project pipeline targets
- Lead brand positioning and corporate identity across all channels (website, proposals, presentations, site branding)
- Support the business development team in tender submissions, RFPs, and bid proposals with compelling marketing materials
- Identify and pursue opportunities in key sectors (commercial, residential, infrastructure, industrial projects)
- Manage digital presence including website, SEO, LinkedIn, and industry platforms
- Oversee the creation of case studies, project portfolios, and capability statements
- Build relationships with developers, consultants, government agencies, and industry partners
- Plan and manage events, trade shows, and networking opportunities within the construction sector
- Conduct market research on competitors, pricing trends, and upcoming projects
- Manage and mentor the marketing team and external agencies (designers, PR, media)
- Oversee marketing budgets and track ROI on campaigns and business development efforts
- Ensure brand consistency across all project sites and communications
Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA is an advantage)
- 8-15+ years of marketing experience, preferably within construction, engineering, real estate, or infrastructure
- Minimum 3-5 years in a leadership or senior management role
- Proven experience supporting tenders, bids, and B2B project acquisition

- Strong understanding of the construction industry lifecycle and procurement processes
- Experience with B2B marketing and long sales cycles
- Excellent proposal writing and storytelling skills for bids and presentations
