Position Overview:
The Marketing Director will be responsible for defining and executing the marketing and brand strategy for COMO's Food & Dining division across both B2B and B2C businesses. This senior leadership role will ensure the marketing strategies reflect COMO's brand values of integrity and authenticity, creativity, and style, while driving growth through integrated marketing strategies that span brand building, digital, customer engagement, communications, and retail & dining experiences. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, a passion for luxury and gastronomy, and proven success across all key marketing disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Refine the brand vision, values, and positioning to reinforce COMO's standing in the luxury F&B sector
- Ensure consistency of brand identity, tone, and storytelling across all touchpoints
- Curate and oversee the production of brand content (campaigns, menus, events, editorials, etc.) in line with luxury standards
Integrated Marketing & Campaign Development & Executions
- Lead the development of 360 marketing campaigns (digital, social, offline, in-store, events, PR) to build awareness, desirability, and sales
- Develop and oversee partnerships and collaborations with comparable high-end lifestyle, hospitality, and luxury brands to extend brand reach
- Develop and execute annual marketing plans and budgets to support business growth and positioning.
Digital, CRM and E-Commerce
- Drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement through data-led strategies and campaigns.
- Lead digital marketing strategy, including content creation, social media, influencer partnerships, email marketing, and SEO/SEM
- Enhance the direct-to-consumer business through effective use of CRM, personalization, digital and social marketing, and loyalty programs
- Leverage customer insights and analytics to refine digital engagement and conversion strategies to optimize spend and improve marketing ROI
Communications & PR
- Build strong media and influencer relationships within luxury, food, and lifestyle sector to increase brand visibility and credibility
- Lead the planning and execution of press releases, brand events, VIP and brand experiences, and corporate communications
- Position the company as a thought leader in luxury F&B by leveraging brand storytelling across digital, print, PR, and in-house experiences, championing consistency and authenticity
Retail & Consumer Experience
- Partner with Operations teams to ensure best-in-class customer experiences across COMO's dining and retail establishments that are both commercially effective and creatively inspiring
- Translate brand values into immersive, high-touchpoint experiences
- Partner with operations, culinary, wellness, and retail teams to create marketing campaigns that are both commercially effective and creatively inspiring.
- Identify trends, consumer insights, and brand collaborations that can differentiate COMO in the F&B space
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and inspire a high-performing marketing team, setting clear goals and mentoring talent
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership, operations teams, internal and external brand stakeholders, and with the COMO group internal business units to leverage on cross-business unit spend across the group
Financial and Key Performance Matrixes
- Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring ROI across all activities
- Track performance using key metrics (acquisition, conversion, brand equity, revenue, share of voice, engagement, retention)
Key Qualifications and Experience Required
- Minimum 10 years of broad-based marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the luxury F&B, lifestyle, or hospitality sectors.
- Proven track record of building aspirational brands and delivering results across both traditional and digital platforms.
- Strong understanding of luxury consumer behaviour, trends, and customer journey mapping
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Creative mindset with commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making ability
- Strategic leader, but willing to take an operationally hands-on approach in leading and working alongside teams
