The Marketing Communications Executive supports Suncare's efforts to raise awareness, drive engagement, and build strong relationships with donors, partners, volunteers, and the community. This role is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies and marketing campaigns that enhance Suncare's visibility and strengthen its brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing & Branding
- Develop and implement integrated marketing plans for programmes, fundraising initiatives, and community events.
- Manage Suncare's brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Produce creative content that communicates Suncare's impact stories effectively.
- Work with vendors, and media partners for campaign materials and collaterals.
2. Digital & Social Media Management
- Oversee Suncare's social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) From planning content calendars to creating posts and analysing engagement metrics.
- Manage website content updates, ensuring information is current, accurate, and aligned with branding.
- Explore digital marketing strategies to improve visibility and donor engagement.
3. Public Relations & Media
- Support press release writing, media outreach, and press kit preparation for key events and initiatives.
- Maintain relationships with media contacts, community partners, and influencers.
- Track media coverage and compile post-campaign reports.
4. Donor & Stakeholder Communications
- Draft donor appreciation letters, newsletters, and annual reports.
- Develop storytelling content highlighting beneficiaries, volunteers, and impact outcomes.
- Support engagement initiatives for sponsors, partners, and volunteers.
5. Event Communications Support
- Assist in promoting fundraising, volunteer, and community events through digital and offline channels.
- Design and coordinate event collaterals
- Provide on-site communications support during major events
Requirements
- Diploma in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, or social media management.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English (proficiency in a second language is an advantage).
- Strong sense of design and familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience managing websites or social media analytics tools preferred.
- Passion for social impact and community development.
- A self-starter with good project management, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
- Experience in the social service or non-profit sector is an advantage
- Photography/videography skills is an advantage
