Job Description
You will report to the General Manager and lead all marketing and sponsorship matters in accordance with the direction and policies established by the SA Board.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing
. Assist in the development of marketing goals, promotional activities and branding in consultation with sponsors and partners.
. Manage the branding, creatives/designs and promotions for all SAA Events.
. Assist in maintaining consistent branding or corporate identity across marketing and public relations channels.
. Assist in maintaining communication and marketing efforts with donors
. Creation of marketing communications/content
. Assist in manage sponsor-athlete engagements
. Manage social media channels and social media calendar
. Create social media marketing plan
Sponsorships
. Assist in managing sponsorship efforts in sourcing new sponsors and retaining current sponsors including preparation of sponsorship decks.
. Oversee the inventory management for all value-in-kind sponsorships.
. Development of sponsorship reports to sponsors
Others
. Manage SA's photo library
. Assist in the creation of the Annual Report
. Value creation for SA's Memberships
Requirements
. Degree in Marketing or relevant qualifications.
. At least 3 years of relevant working experience
. Prior experience or passion in sports is preferred.
. Prior experience using Canva.
. Must have strong initiative, good communication & interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
. Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight datelines.
. Willing to work irregular hours on occasions, including weekend work
