Job Description

Marketing and Events Executive / Singapore / Hybrid

We are looking for a Marketing & Events Executive with at least 3 years of experience in the financial services, trading, brokerage, or fintech industry. This role is responsible for executing and optimizing client-facing marketing initiatives, overseeing end-to-end event marketing initiatives (seminars, client roadshows, VIP engagements) and ensuring clients touch points are effectively localized to the market, aligned with regulatory requirements, and tailored to local client behaviour. The position reports directly to the Head of Clients & Business Development, Singapore and will work closely with the Head of Marketing.

Please note that our Singapore operations are subject to the receipt of the relevant regulatory approvals, and we are currently in the process of obtaining our license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Events & Roadshows

• Design and execute the annual Singapore events calendar including trading seminars/events, roadshows, and VIP client evenings aligned to seasonal trading cycles and product launches.

• Manage event budgets, vendor negotiations, venue sourcing, logistics, and post-event reporting.

• Coordinate logistics end-to-end: AV, catering, registration, speaker management, and on-the-day execution.

• Drive commercial outcomes from every event: set attendance targets, lead conversion benchmarks, and first-trade goals in collaboration with the Sales and Partnerships teams before each event goes live.

• Own event P&L: manage budgets rigorously, negotiate with vendors, source venues, and ensure maximum ROI from every dollar spent.

Client Gifting & Engagement Programs

• Develop and manage client gifting strategies aligned with brand positioning and regulatory guidelines.

• Source and manage gifting vendors, negotiate pricing, manage inventory, and oversee fulfillment ensuring gifts are premium, on-brand, and delivered reliably.

• Ensure gifting initiatives support client retention, loyalty, and premium positioning.

• Ensure all communications are fully compliant with MAS advertising and disclosure requirements, reviewed by Compliance before deployment.

Marketing Communications

• Plan and execute targeted email, SMS, and push notification campaigns.

• Segment audiences based on behaviour, lifecycle stage, and trading activity.

• Coordinate campaign calendars aligned with promotions, events, and product launches.

• Monitor and optimize campaign performance (open rates, CTR, conversions, engagement metrics).

• Ensure communications are compliant with MAS regulations and internal policies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Compliance, Product, and Customer Support teams.

• Serve as the primary marketing liaison for the Singapore Clients team translating commercial needs into campaigns and ensuring Sales has the collateral, event support, and communication assets they need to close.

• Coordinate with creative/design teams for marketing assets and event collaterals.

Reporting

• Build and maintain a regular reporting cadence: post-event analysis, and monthly KPI reviews for the Head of Clients BD & Head of Marketing.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Marketing, Mass Communication or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of marketing experience within financial services, trading platforms, brokerage, or fintech.

• Proven experience managing client events and roadshows.

• Strong understanding of email, SMS, and push notification best practices.

• Familiarity with MAS regulations and financial marketing compliance requirements.

• Strong project management and vendor management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in CFD/FX/Equities/Derivatives marketing.

• Demonstrated experience in planning and executing financial services event marketing initiatives, including seminars, roadshows, VIP client events, and trading workshops.

• Experience aligning event marketing initiatives with commercial KPIs such as deposits, trading volume, or client retention metrics.
