Your Role in VT Markets
We are seeking a highly skilled and data-driven Marketing Analyst/Data Scientist with expertise in financial markets, algorithmic trading, and advanced analytics. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end data workflowsfrom engineering and analysis to modeling and visualizationusing cutting-edge tools and techniques.
Your responsibilities will include
- Work across all aspects of data from engineering to building sophisticated visualizations, machine learning models, and experiments.
- Analyze and interpret large (PB-scale) volumes of transactional, operational, and customer data using proprietary and open-source data tools, platforms, and analytical toolkits.
- Translate complex findings into simple visualizations and recommendations for execution by operational teams and executives.
- Be part of a fast-paced industry and organization where time to market is critical.
- Ability to integrate CRM platforms with internal data visualization platforms and customer data platforms (CDPs).
- Aid conversion tracking and reporting through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- Provide predictive and preemptive data for business decisions.
- Collaborate with business development teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities through data.
- Present technical results to non-technical audiences.
What Makes You a Great Fit
Qualification & Experience:
- A Bachelor&aposs Degree in Marketing/Business Administration/Mathematics/Statistics/Information System/Computer Science/Business Analytics/Data Science or a relevant field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Quantitative Analyst or Data Analyst in a financial firm.
- Proven experience in Quantitative Trading and/or Algorithmic Trading.
- Experience/strong understanding of cryptocurrency/blockchain industries including non-fungible tokens will be an added advantage.
Technical & Functional Skills:
- Advanced coding skills in Python.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning methodologies (e.g., Clustering techniques, Factor Modeling, Reinforcement Learning, Advanced Statistics).
- Advanced knowledge of Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- Expertise or experience with CRM software (e.g., Braze, Hubspot, Salesforce, Marketo).
- Excellent skills in MS Office suite of programs.
- Certain knowledge of Mathematical Finance and Financial Markets, such as Algorithmic Trading, Derivative Pricing, Portfolio and Risk Management, Dynamic Programming, and Numerical Methods.
- A passion for Emerging Technologies related to Trading, Blockchain, and Machine Learning.
