About The Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Sales & Marketing (LIG & Marketing Communications), this candidate would be responsible for the overall marketing & communication strategy for the division. This role requires the candidate to be conversant with event management and digital marketing as he/she is to develop, implement, execute and support on corporate events & related marketing activities for the Agency Channel within the Corporate Solutions Division in AIA Singapore.

  • Events Management
  • The candidate is to develop, implement, execute and support on events outlined in the yearly strategy for the various distribution of Corporate Solutions in AIA Singapore, predominantly for AIA Agency Distribution Channel.
  • From conception to execution, this role will manage events.
  • To propose strategy, concept, and project plan and follow through until delivery of the event, in areas such as, but not limited to, communication, production, logistic, security, and catering, etc.
  • Plan and manage the event budget that fulfil company finance and legal procedure and ensure they are being well controlled.
  • The candidate is to work closely with the various division and departments within the organisation concerning each event
  • Be the primary interface/contact person for specific groups of event partners and sponsors during the run-up to events and onsite at events.
  • Maintain and improve relationships with our regional media and press partners to increase the exposure of our events.
  • Marketing Management
  • Support the Sales & Marketing team and play an instrumental role in contributing to, and development of, integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement creative marketing strategies that will make an impact, support the business through effective use of digital marketing
  • Liaise and network with a range of stakeholders including potential partners, colleagues, suppliers, and press.
  • The position will be based at AIA Tampines office.


Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Mass Communications preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in a related field or industry
  • Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, use of Microsoft Word, Photoshop and Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficient in using digital media and social media platforms and adapt to new platforms as part of the job scope.
  • Knowledge in data analytics will be an advantage
  • Highly organized and with excellent attention to detail and able to work confidently in challenging situations.
  • Proactive, independent and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under deadlines and pressure.
  • Familiarity with digital media applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, video editing as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Drive
  • An excellent negotiator and is resourceful and relentless in trying to get to a solution.
  • Meticulous, service oriented and team player.
  • Possess good written and oral communications skills
