About the Role
This role is to serve as the firm's public market voice in Singapore, delivering market and macro commentary through radio, media and client seminars, and demonstrating the Longbridge App to investors.

Key Responsibilities: 
MARKET COMMENTARY

• Regular output: Produce market and macro commentary for clients and for the public across written, audio and video formats.
• House view: Work closely with colleagues under our research arm to develop and align the house view.
• Product explanation: Explain new products to a retail audience in plain language Equity, Futures, and margin changes, Platform sharing, giving equal weight to the risks.
  

MEDIA & PUBLIC PRESENCE

• Media representation: Represent the firm on radio, in print and broadcast media, and across digital channels.
• Events: Speak at client seminars, webinars and investor events, and demonstrate the Longbridge App to investors.
• Brand building: Build a following and a recognisable voice for Longbridge among Singapore retail investors.
  

GOVERNANCE

• Marketing approval: Work within the marketing approval process, submitting material to Compliance for review before publication.
• Accuracy: Ensure all commentary and product explanation is accurate, current and consistent with our disclosures.
  

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in market strategy, research, investment commentary or financial media.
• A track record of public-facing commentary, broadcast, print, digital or stage with material we can review.
• Strong command of global equities and macro, with credibility across both Asian and US markets.
• Excellent presentation and on-camera skills in English; Mandarin is a strong advantage for our client base.
• The discipline to stay within compliance boundaries while still being engaging.
• Comfortable working to a publishing cadence and to short deadlines around market events.
