Overview
A prominent player in the global energy and commodities trading sector is seeking a Market Risk Analyst to join its high-performing team. Role
As a Market Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for validating trades against broker and trader recaps, producing daily Profit & Loss (P&L) and exposure reports, and ensuring adherence to established risk limits. You will contribute to the development of forward curve methodologies for accurate mark-to-market reporting and prepare detailed performance analyses and commentaries. The role also involves supporting month-end processes in collaboration with back-office and accounting teams, as well as providing maintenance and technical support for the CTRM system.

Requirements
The successful candidate holds a university degree from a reputable institution, with 2-3 years of relevant experience in energy trading. Familiarity with Python and SQL will be advantageous. You are also best described as someone meticulous, analytical, and capable of thriving under pressure in a high-intensity setting.
