about the job
- Provides oversight and guidance to the team
- Lead the local team to develop trading strategies based on fundamental analysis, with a primary focus on Heavies
- Coordinate the development and maintenance of supply and demand models, and for identifying and communicating market anomalies
- Collaborate with traders and a global team of strategists to predict market behaviors and generate trading ideas
- Coaching and mentor the local team to enhance their analytical skills and foster a collaborative environment

skills and experience required
- At least 10 years of market analysis experience at major oil company/commodity trading house/investment bank with previous experience in leading a team of market analysts
- Model development is a plus
- Prior working experience in London/NYC/Dubai/Houston is a plus
