Marine Superintendent

1. Ensuring vessels comply with all relevant maritime regulations and certifications.
2. Coordinate and monitor vetting inspections, class audits, SIRE, Flag State Inspections and other statutory surveys
3. Approved crew assignments, conduct interviews and oversee onboarding
4. Identifying training needs and ensure structured development programmes are in place.
5. Support onboard mentoring and competency management initiatives.
6. Ensure compliance with ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW and other international standards
7. Conduct safety inspections, manage incident investigations and follow up on safety audits.
8. Monitor navigational safety, pollution prevention and cargo operations
9. Support voyage planning and execute to maximize efficiency and cargo utilization
10. Monitor resource allocation and utilization for optimal operational support

Qualification and Requirement

1. Certificate of competency to Class 2 or above (Deck) recognized by MPA Singapore
2. At least 5 years of experience in fleet operations, preferably in a supervisory/managerial role
3. Familiarity with ISM, MARPOL, SOLAS and other maritime regulations
4. ISM/ISPS or ISO Lead Auditor certification is an advantage
5. Experience working with tankers preferred.
