- Develop and expand both new and existing client relationships, not limited to ship owners and operator
- Working closely with our network of local agents for commercial growth in the maritime sector
- Strengthen and expand clientele across Southeast Asia, in close collaboration with local agents
- Driving sales turnover across our full service and product portfolio
- Developing and executing regional sales strategies and budgets
- Supporting local agents commercially and technically.
- Monitoring market and competitor developments.
- Leading acquisition efforts and following up on quotations.
- Collaborating with Internal Sales Engineers and Service Coordinators on complex quotations
- Sharing and leveraging networking contacts across regions
- Managing client claims.
- Providing functional leadership to the regional team
- Ensuring client satisfaction through proactive service and communication.
Requirements
- At least 5 - 10 years in sales within the maritime or technical services sector
- Ability to understand customer needs and market dynamics and positioning of company's product portfolio
- Providing guidance to clients through complex quotations and negotiations by applying clear legal and financial insight
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills to build trust and long-term partnerships
- Able to communicate with clarity and impact
- Client centric to portray transparency, reliability, and committed to provide quality service
- Self-motivated and accountable, ensuring promises to clients are fulfilled with deliverable results
- Collaborating with cross functional teams, taking ownership while contributing to shared success
- Flexible and proactive, open to adapt and adopt changes for continuous improvement
- Able to travel for client visitation or for other business needs
