Marine Sales Engineer

A well-established international marine engineering company is seeking a Marine Sales Engineer to support its regional growth. This role is ideal for technically trained candidates with early-career experience who are looking to develop their career in marine equipment sales and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support sales and business development activities for marine engine solutions

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for shipowners, yards, and marine operators

• Provide technical consultation and product recommendations based on customer requirements

• Liaise with internal engineering and service teams to ensure accurate solution matching

• Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events

• Follow up on leads, quotations, and project opportunities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships in the marine sector

• Travel locally and regionally as required for customer support and business development

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in marine, offshore, or related engineering field

• Technical understanding of marine auxiliary engines is required

• Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline preferred

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Commercially aware with customer-facing confidence

• Willing and able to travel for client visits and projects

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

Preferred (Good to Have)

• Experience in marine equipment sales or technical support

• Familiarity with shipyard or vessel operations environment

• Proposal or tender preparation experience
