We are seeking a motivated Marine Operation Assistant to support our project sites in Singapore and contribute to our growing success.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day marine operations to ensure safe and efficient vessel movements.
- Assist the Project Site Manager in resolving operational issues and emergencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and service delivery.
- Communicate with the Marine Controller/Project Manager on operational matters and pending issues.
- Follow established SOPs for channel control and vessel movement maintain accurate log records during watch duty.
- Monitor vessel compliance with designated navigation routes.
- Maintain listening watch on required VHF channels and pilot handset (when required) ensure communication with safety tugs.
- Incident reporting
- Assist with administrative duties as required by Marine Controller/Project Manager.
- Carry out other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite familiarity with maritime management software is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle incidents effectively.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, shift work cycle.
- Possession of a valid Class 3/3A driving license preferred.
