- Directly reports to GM of Ship Management Division.
- Overall management of superintendents and vessels in direct charge of.
- Supervise the maintenance of managed vessels, including preparation / implementation / reviewing of vessel maintenance plan.
- Control technical information concerned with safe operation, including maintenance.
- Budget-preparation and cost control.
- Investigate the causes of accidents and mechanical failures, as required for implementing corrective actions.
- Take all responsibilities for safe use of machinery and equipment, monitoring the operating performance and the current condition of vessels.
- Overall supervision of spare parts, vessel's stores and lubricant supply.
- Overall in-charge of planning and execution of vessels docking.
- Evaluation and selection of sub-contractors.
- Preparation of backup system for superintendents.
- Setup and implement the company's Objectives for the team.
- Marine casualty management as per Safety Management System.
- Prepare and implement plans for takeover of vessels, liaising with seaferer's division, HSEQ division and Marine Division.
Requirements:
- Hold Chief Engineer certificate of competency.
- More than 4 years experience in LNG Ship Management.
- Experience of planning and executing LNG dry docking.
- Has a deep understanding of various LNG propulsion and cargo containment systems.
