Negotiate fair settlements with brokers and policyholders while maintaining high service standards.
Monitor large loss reserves and provide technical reporting on claim trends and exposure.
Collaborate with the underwriting team to provide insights on risk quality based on claims history.
Professional experience in marine claims handling within an insurance or loss-adjusting firm.
Solid technical knowledge of Marine Hull, Cargo, or Protection and Indemnity (P&I) insurance.
Strong ability to interpret maritime law and international shipping conventions.
Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to handle sensitive disputes professionally.
Sharp analytical mind with a focus on detail and accuracy in financial calculations.
Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ANZIIF, ACII, or a Degree in Maritime Studies).
