Job Description
Based on work orders, drawings, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and instructions (written or spoken) to build, repair, or test electrical and mechanical parts and assemblies.
With training provided, carries out electrical and mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and repair, and fixes any mistakes found.
Under supervision, uses testing tools and equipment (such as test fixtures, measuring devices, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps) to test parts and assemblies. Records work progress, costs, and labor details in the computer. May also help with basic computer programming, repairs, or software installation.
Must Have Skills
Able to read drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions
Basic electrical and mechanical assembly skills
Basic troubleshooting and repair skills
Able to use testing tools (measuring devices, leak detectors, etc.)
Basic computer skills (data entry and recording work details)
Good to Have Skills
Basic programming or software installation knowledge
Computer repair knowledge
Experience in manufacturing or assembly work
Good attention to detail
Matriculated/A-Level, School Certificate / N or O-Level, Diploma, ITC/NTC/Vocational, Bachelors/ Degree
