MANUFACTURING PRODUCTION MANAGER

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Production Manager leads day-to-day production operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output. This role plans manpower and production schedules, drives continuous improvement, controls costs, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.

• Develop production schedules, allocate manpower, and coordinate with maintenance, QA, warehouse, and planning teams.

• Monitor production KPIs (OEE, yield, downtime, scrap, throughput) and implement corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements and enforce safe work practices.

• Manage machine performance and coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and stoppages.

• Lead continuous improvement projects (Lean/Kaizen/5S), including process optimization and waste reduction.

• Ensure products meet quality standards investigate non-conformances and implement CAPA actions.

• Control production costs (materials usage, labor, overtime, utilities) and improve productivity.

• Train, coach, and supervise production supervisors/operators conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions when needed.

• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation (batch/route cards, shift reports, traceability).

• Support audits (ISO/industry standards/customer audits) and ensure readiness at all times.

• Coordinate new product introductions (NPIs), trials, and process changes, and relate to relevant stakeholders
