Manufacturing Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Control

• Plan and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly production activities.

• Ensure production targets and deadlines are met.

• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.

1. Team Management

• Supervise production supervisors, operators, and factory workers.

• Assign duties and monitor employee performance.

• Provide training and guidance to production staff.

1. Quality Control

• Ensure products meet company and customer quality standards.

• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to maintain product quality.

• Implement quality improvement measures.

1. Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.

• Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement programs.

• Optimize production processes and workflow.

1. Health & Safety Compliance

• Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with workplace safety regulations.

• Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety procedures.

• Conduct safety meetings and inspections.

1. Inventory & Materials Management

• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for raw material supply.

• Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.

• Ensure proper inventory control.

1. Equipment Maintenance

• Ensure machines and equipment are properly maintained.

• Coordinate with maintenance teams to reduce downtime.

1. Reporting

• Prepare production reports, performance analysis, and management reports.
