Manufacturing/Production Engineer

Our client, an established manufacturing group serving customers in the electronics and technology industries

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and optimize production line layout, workflow, and tooling to support efficient manufacturing
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase throughput, reduce cycle time, and lower cost of production
• Support capacity planning and line balancing across production programs
• Work with Assembly, Test, and Quality teams to resolve production bottlenecks and process issues
• Lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor
• Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline
• Minimum 2-4 years of manufacturing/production engineering experience in an electronics or precision manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience with line layout planning, tooling design, and capacity/throughput analysis
• Strong hands-on, floor-based problem-solving orientation
