Job Description
The Manufacturing Process Engineer reports to the Special Process Supervisor who manages the Heat Treatment, Cladding and Assembly departments as well as facilitating improvement projects and maintains QMS (Quality Management System) & HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) policies and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with Planning Department to schedule jobs for Heat Treatment, Assembly and Cladding operations and meeting required deadlines.
- Coordinate between test house, calibration and maintenance vendors
- Assist Special Process Supervisor in enforcing procedural compliance with QMS by conducting routine and daily checks on jobs
- Promote HSE awareness across the company and ensure compliance with established HSE policies and procedures
- Participate in risk assessments, incident investigations, and reporting of HSE metrics
- Support the integration of HSE practices into daily operations
- Evaluate, qualify, and monitor vendors to ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements
- Coordinate vendor audits, performance reviews, and development initiatives
- Manage vendor non-conformances, corrective actions, and improvement programs
Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Fresh graduates with relevant disciplines may also be considered
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and critical thinking, able to work in a team or independently
- Able to multi-task and priories critical tasks in a fast-paced environment
