We are seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee manufacturing operations within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role focuses on driving production performance, ensuring quality compliance, and leading a high-performing operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate production activities to meet schedule, output, yield, and quality targets
- Ensure accurate batch documentation, effective shift handovers, and adherence to SOPs
- Drive deviation investigations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain GMP compliance, support audits/inspections, and collaborate closely with QA and QC
- Oversee team training, staffing, and performance management
- Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure equipment readiness and minimal downtime
- Support technology transfer, projects, and non-routine manufacturing activities
- Manage consumables planning and collaborate with procurement to ensure operational continuity
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Science, Pharmaceutical, Engineering, or related field
- 56+ years of experience in medical device industry or similar field
- Strong knowledge of cGMP and production processes
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
