The role is based in our Singapore Plant which is a critical component in our Concentrate manufacturing network. Reporting to the Plant Director, the Manufacturing Manager is responsible for leading the operational activities of the PepsiCo Singapore plant.
- Day to day management of the Singapore Concentrate manufacturing environment, both from a strategic and tactical perspective
- Advocate, through leadership, high standards of H&S on site at all times, ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety Site System
- Delivery of annual Manufacturing AOP to ensure all MOH, CPWU, Quality and Service KPI targets are met for all volume manufactured. Management of the Operations budget and ensuring that budget targets are achieved and exceeded.
- Partner with Quality to ensure Product Quality and compliance with the Quality System at all times. Ensure comprehensive follow up and corrective actions on customer complaints. Ensure Quality and Food Safety audit targets are passed, by providing leadership for the site wide operations team.
- Support the delivery of the site productivity agenda to deliver annual productivity savings targets in addition to developing a pipeline of future initiatives. Lead Productivity Agenda for Singapore Operations, champion through demonstration and empowerment.
- Partner with People Function in developing and executing core people processes, OH agenda including Operating Excellence, Capability models and People Planning to develop a strong pipeline of talent. Ensure a strong culture of integrity, inclusivity and engagement, upholding One Pepsico Way values, leading the OPW journey for the operations team.
- Provide leadership, guidance and support to manufacturing supervisors empowering their development at all times.
- Lead and support the operations teams in the achievement of operations goals. Manage the Performance management process with all direct reports.
- Proactive and efficient management of internal employees to attribute topositive labour relations for the site.
- Support the upholding of organization policies, global control standards,and ensure CMSPL is compliant with all relevant local regulations
- Key driver and leader in the execution of site strategy and initiatives within the operations function, as aligned to PEP/PGCS global objectives
- Contribute to and support the Pepsico Positive (Pep+) agenda. Ensure pep+is embedded into the heart of all manufacturing tactical and strategic plans.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the plant in areas of Cost, Quality, Service and People.
- Collaborate across functions to ensure cross functional partnership,influencing, project execution, etc.
- Optimise and partner with SC, support SC processes through regular interaction. Drive operational synergies & manage demand impacts.
- Partner with site Engineering and Maintenance teams to deliver appropriate capital investment programs for the site, including development of business cases, delivering on productivity commitments, and facilitating on-site project works as required.
- Develop and implement sustainable management processes with all operations employees e.g. regular update meetings, communication processes,employee involvement initiatives.
- Participate in the global Operations forums, representing the Singapore Team effectively through clear communication and strategy
Education or Professional Certifications
- Science/Technical or Engineering Degree and/or equivalent qualification coupled with 8 years plus demonstrated track record in an operations role
- Lean Six Sigma qualification
- Experience in F&B Industry
