Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the manufacturing operations in Singapore, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production performance on a daily basis.
- Oversee a team of engineers, supervisors, and production staff to meet operational goals and customer delivery commitments.
- Develop and implement production strategies, plans, and schedules to support business objectives and customer demand in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and process optimization.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore export control regulations, company policies, and Country of Origin (COO) requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, and Logistics to ensure seamless operations and successful new product introductions (NPI).
- Monitor key manufacturing metrics and provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence within the manufacturing team.
- Support regional manufacturing activities and serve as a key contact for process standardization and best practice sharing
Your qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing operations, including at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role within a high-mix, low-volume production environment.
- Proven record of improving operational efficiency, implementing lean manufacturing principles, and achieving performance targets.
- Strong understanding of production processes, export control handling, and COO (Country of Origin) requirements.
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP (PP module).
