Manufacturing Engineer

Our client is an established semiconductor manufacturer in Singapore, producing high-purity silicon wafers used in semiconductor chip manufacturing. Below position is open urgently.

• Location: East Singapore
• Employment Type: Permanent role

About the Role:

You will supervise line leaders and operators, coordinate production resources and implement improvements to achieve daily output, quality, productivity and yield targets.

Responsibilities:

• Lead line leaders and operators to achieve daily production targets.
• Conduct shift handover meetings, address production issues and escalate concerns promptly.
• Plan manpower, overtime and consumables to support production requirements.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing procedures and workplace safety standards.
• Train and coach team members to improve performance.
• Implement continuous improvement activities to reduce human error and improve efficiency.
• Maintain good discipline and housekeeping on the production floor.
• Coordinate with other departments on projects, evaluations and preventive maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Production or a related discipline.
• Experience in a high-tech, high-volume manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and team coordination skills.
• Ability to manage production priorities and resolve operational issues.
• Willingness to work onsite in Singapore on 12-hour permanent shifts (Permanent day or night shift as per assigned by reporting manager).
