Job Summary
The incumbent will provide day-to-day technical support for the production line including cleanroom, sub-assembly, optical build, and laser final test areas. They will maintain quality, reliability, and cycle time standards of the laser build process and implement corrective actions for reported problems.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical support daily across production line areas including cleanroom, sub-assembly, optical build, and laser final test to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor and maintain quality standards for laser build processes to achieve reliability and cycle time targets
- Analyze production issues and implement corrective actions to resolve problems and improve process performance
- Apply technical expertise in manufacturing, assembly, and test processes for mechanical assemblies, PCBA, and optical components to optimize production outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold process standards and support continuous improvement initiatives
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Photonics or related mechanical assemblies, PCBA, Optical components within manufacturing field
