Manufacturing Engineer (Semiconductor)

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily engineering support to manufacturing operations, resolving process, product, and production issues to minimize downtime and ensure timely delivery.
• Analyze manufacturing processes, identify root causes of issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve quality, yield, and productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization, cycle time reduction, cost reduction, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S practices.
• Support engineering change implementation, new product introduction (NPI), product transfer activities, and manufacturing readiness efforts.
• Develop, review, and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), process flows, and technical reports.
• Monitor manufacturing performance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain, to achieve manufacturing and business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, workplace safety requirements, and internal procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within semiconductor, electronics, precision engineering, automation, or equipment manufacturing industries.
• Experience in production support, process improvement, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of semiconductor assembly, precision assembly, automation, or equipment manufacturing processes is an added advantage.
• Experience with ERP, MRP, or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is an added advantage.
