Job Summary

This role oversees night-shift manufacturing operations, leading a team to meet daily output, quality, and safety targets. The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for resource planning, training, continuous process improvement, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient production.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Science, or a Production-related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer
• Willing to work 12-hour permanent night shift

Desired Skill-set

• Experience in high-tech, high-volume manufacturing environments is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Lead line leaders and operators to achieve daily production, quality, productivity, and safety objectives
• Conduct daily briefings and promptly escalate operational issues
• Plan and track manpower allocation, overtime, and consumable usage
• Ensure compliance with established manufacturing standards and safety procedures
• Provide coaching and training to enhance team capabilities
• Implement process improvements to reduce human errors and boost efficiency
• Uphold discipline, 5S, and housekeeping standards on the production floor
• Work with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects, evaluations, and preventive maintenance activities
