Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Interface with Design Engineering team for the release of new products (NPI) into Manufacturing
Involve in product development and evaluate the design for manufacturability and reliability by participating in design reviews and the assembly of the prototype units
Need to understand overall system operation, system integration, system calibrations and need to do preventive and corrective maintenance on Equipment/Machine
Apply7-step trouble-shooting, including driving learning and standardization where appropriate.
Drive continuous improvement of system hardware, diagnostics and software, tooling, technical documentation and knowledge management to minimize Cycle time/Quality issues.
Creating ECO (Engineering Change Orders), Structuring BOMs and creating test and assembly documentation as needed
Work with suppliers to resolve component/yield/part problems in a timely manner and assist purchasing teams in driving supplier quality improvements and cost reductions efforts.
Perform First Article qualifications for parts and EOL components.
Provide fly and fix support on field escalations for analysis/resolution on any issue requiring in-depth knowledge on the product.
Systematically analyzeTechnical issuesand Infant Mortalityissues and come up with proposal and concepts to Standardize.
Provide strong technical support to production team to resolve issues and ensure on time shipment.
Use lean manufacturing and six sigma processes
Generate and Maintain process and equipment work instructions, drawings, and other production document to conform to specifications
Requirements:
Master's/Bachelor's Degree in Systems/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering with1 or more years of experience in manufacturing.
Entry level candidates with good academic record are welcomed.
Understand the working principle of complex electro-mechanical assemblies on a high precision defect inspection equipment and how they relate to system performance.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to support technical issues. Set-up experiments, and perform data analysis.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and use of precision testing and measuring instruments in solving problems.
Expected to travel up to 25% of the time
Experience in semiconductor equipment industry /manufacturing is advantageous
Basic knowledge on themanufacturing process and quality controlis desirable
Team player with good writing and verbal communication skills
Minimum Qualifications
