Job descriptions are as follow: -
1) Manage operations of business including the manufacturing of marine and industrial electrical systems, life cycle business, and lead the company based on Japan HQ vision and strategy.
2) Manage the marine and industrial electrical system business & life cycle business across ASEAN and Middle-East including Turkey.
3) Manage the day-to-day operations of the company and provide monthly report to top management at Japan HQ.
4) Cooperate with group companies and lead to achieve group profitability.
5) Responsible for staff appraisal including employees in the Middle-East and Qatar Representative Office.
6) Communicate with top tier clients (Japan, ASEAN and Middle East) to deeply understand their needs and lead the company towards achieving its business goal.
7) Responsible to set Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for each department, and lead in achieving the company goal.
8) Responsible for planning the three-year budget and capital investment plan, and report to Japan HQ.
9) Report quarterly forecasts for the financial year and analyse the variance against the budget for reporting to Japan HQ.
10) Analyse sales performance and implement sales measures and strategies based on detailed sales analysis.
11) Responsible to coordinate board meetings, and present explanations of the company performance and operations to board members.
12) Responsible to check manufacturing products and provide advice to maintain product quality based on knowledge of electrical systems.
13) Responsible to discuss with union and lead initiatives to improve employee safety and satisfaction.
14) Responsible for compliance and corporate governance, and lead in meeting all legal and regulatory requirements.
15) Provide sound leadership and coaching across business functions, driving development of employees.
16) Responsible for management matters related to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
17) Responsible to coordinate and facilitate Japan HQ internal audits, and implement improvements to strengthen corporate governance.
Job requirements are as follow: -
1) More than twenty-five (25) years of experiences and have proven track record in related marine and industrial electrical system field.
2) Understand TERASAKI products that include circuit breaker, and marina & industrial switchboard.
3) More than twenty (20) years of experiences in manufacturing field and understand ISO requirements.
4) Experience in leading new factory start-up project.
5) Extensive experience as a Factory Manager (or in a similar role) of a company of over one hundred (100) employees.
6) Experience in appraising employees performance, increment and bonus.
7) Experience in negotiating with union for a company of over one hundred (100) employees.
8) Experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans.
9) Experience in coordinating internal & external audit.
10) Advanced communication, presentation and negotiation skills both in English and Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent) is required to effectively communicate with Terasaki's top tier clients & key contacts (both Japanese and local companies).
11) Experience in directing company-wide quality assurance and leading initiatives to enhance overall quality performance.
12) Experience in analysing the company's financial results and implementing measures to maintain healthy cash flow.
