Job Description
The Managing Director (MD) is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational performance of the company. The MD ensures the business achieves its financial, operational, and growth objectives while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and develop the company's vision, mission, and long-term strategy
- Oversee daily business operations across all departments
- Drive business growth, profitability, and market expansion
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards
- Manage company financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Provide leadership and direction to senior management and department heads
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and investments
- Represent the company in negotiations, meetings, and public engagements
- Monitor industry trends and adapt strategies to remain competitive
- Ensure high standards of organizational culture, ethics, and performance
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum 10-15 years of senior management experience
- Proven track record in leadership, business development, and operational management
- Experience in the relevant industry (e.g., construction, engineering, trading, etc.)
