Job Description
Strategy, Management, and Business Operations
- Formulation and execution of the medium- to long-term business strategy for the Company and the Asia region
- Approval and monitoring of business plans for the Company and respective subsidiaries
- Decision-making and promotion of M&A, business alliances, and new market entry
- Budgeting and performance management (sales, profit, and cash flow) of each regional entity
Governance and Compliance
- Establishment and maintenance of the Group governance framework
- Implementation of an effective internal control system
- Compliance with applicable laws and regulations in each country (including tax and labor laws)
- Oversight of risk management systems
- Coordination and response to internal and external audits
Human Resources and Organizational Management
- Design and optimization of the organizational structure
- Leadership and supervision of multinational teams
- Implementation of initiatives to enhance employee engagement
External Relations
- Reporting to Head Office management in Japanese
- Coordination and reporting with relevant Head Office departments and group companies
- Building relationships with key customers and business partners
- Liaison with government authorities and regulatory bodies
- Maintaining relationships with industry associations
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor Degree
- As frequent discussion and reporting is required with our HQ in Japan, Japanese business level communication skills, including written is essential. (JLPT N1, BJT J1 or equivalent)
- A minimum of 10 years of executive management experience as a Managing Director at a medical bed manufacturer or medical bed distribution/sales company
- Has extensive sales experience in the medical field, preferably someone who has more than 20 years of medical sales experiences in South East Asia
- Profound knowledge of medical and homecare beds
- Extensive knowledge and experience in medical device registration.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in financial statement analysis.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner Analyzes information skillfully Develops alternative solutions Works well in group problem solving situations.
