The Head of IT Transformation is responsible for leading the execution of the bank's IT strategy, driving digital transformation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing operational excellence across Asia Pacific. This role oversees large-scale technology change initiatives, core system modernisation programmes, and provides senior IT leadership across operations, architecture, and vendor management to enable business growth and customer-centric innovation.

Job Responsibilities
- IT Strategy Execution & Transformation Leadership
- Drive the execution of the bank's IT strategy, aligning transformation initiatives with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver digital transformation and modernization of systems and processes.
- Oversee the IT Transformation Office portfolio, including prioritization of technology investments, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Regulatory Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all transformation initiatives comply with banking regulations, security standards, and risk management frameworks.
- Establish and maintain governance structures for IT change management and regulatory adherence.
- Operational Excellence & IT Oversight
- Oversee IT operations to ensure reliability, scalability, and security of technology infrastructure.
- Provide leadership for enterprise IT architecture, technology standards, and best practices.
- Strategic Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage strategic vendor relationships and contract negotiations to optimize value, performance, and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with business units (Retail, Corporate, Risk, Compliance, etc.) to identify and deliver technology-driven improvements.
- Engage with executive leadership to report on transformation progress, risks, outcomes, and strategic opportunities.
- Talent Development & Leadership
- Support talent development, succession planning, and capability building within the IT function.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across IT teams.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Extensive experience in IT leadership roles within the banking or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of driving large-scale IT transformation and digital modernization.
- Deep understanding of banking regulations, security standards, and risk management.
- Strong expertise in IT operations, enterprise architecture, and vendor management.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
