ROLE OVERVIEW

The Managing Director, Head of Regional Treasury Sales, APAC is accountable for defining and executing the firm's regional treasury sales strategy for multinational clients operating across Asia Pacific, with a primary focus on Regional Treasury Centers (RTCs), In-House Banks, and Shared Service Centers (SSCs).

This role has full responsibility for regional origination, revenue growth, market penetration, and sales leadership across cash management, payments, liquidity, working capital, trade and supply chain finance, corporate and commercial cards, and transactional FX.

This is a player-manager role. The successful candidate will personally lead strategic regional client engagements with senior treasury decision-makers, while building, coaching, and managing a high-performing regional treasury sales organization. The role is central to positioning the firm as a leading treasury partner for multinational clients APAC operating and liquidity structures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Regional Market Leadership & Origination

. Define and execute the APAC regional treasury sales strategy, with a focus on multinational clients Regional Treasury Centers and cross-border treasury operating models.

. Personally lead strategic origination and senior-level engagement with APAC-based CFOs, Group Treasurers, Regional Treasurers, and Heads of Finance.

. Drive regional mandate acquisition across cash management, liquidity, payables, receivables, trade and supply chain finance, corporate and commercial cards, and transactional FX.

. Identify regional market opportunities and develop targeted strategies to grow wallet share and franchise relevance across APAC.

Client Coverage, Solutions & Leadership

. Lead complex, multi-product treasury dialogues for multinational clients operating across multiple APAC markets.

. Own and coordinate regional treasury sales coverage for APAC RTC clients, in partnership with country coverage, global relationship managers, and product teams.

. Run and manage complex, multi-product and multi-regional RFPs, coordinating inputs across products, countries, implementation, operations, and global stakeholders to deliver competitive and executable client proposals.

. Deliver tailored regional treasury and working capital solutions reflecting regulatory and operating differences across APAC markets.

. Serves as a bank representative presenting at key industry events, leading consultative discussions at multiple levels of the organization, and providing product line expertise

. Serve as the APAC coordination lead for regional treasury and liquidity mandates, ensuring seamless connectivity between APAC markets, EMEA, and the Americas.

People Leadership

. Lead, coach, and develop the APAC Regional Treasury Sales team.

. Act as a hands-on player-manager supporting senior team members on complex regional originations.

. Manager of Process & Data: Challenges end-to-end process efficiency and effectiveness, championing data driven decision-making and removes obstacles to optimize operations

. Enterprise Talent Leader: Inspects and manages the health of the bench to ensure succession for the organization, while supporting enterprise talent needs.

. Enterprise Advocate & Communicator: Contributes to enterprise strategy and influence messaging to connect team contributions to business purpose, results, and success.

. Set clear performance expectations and accountability aligned with franchise goals.

Risk, Governance & Franchise Stewardship

. Ensure adherence to regional regulatory, compliance, KYC, and internal governance standards across APAC.

. Ongoing collaboration with banking coverage and wholesale credit to ensure deal flow aligns with internal risk appetite

. Uphold the firm's reputation and risk culture across all regional client engagements.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES

. Extensive experience in treasury, transaction banking, or working capital solutions covering multinational clients with APAC regional treasury models.

. Proven ability to lead and manage complex, multi-product and multi-country client proposals and RFP processes.

. Strong executive presence with the ability to influence Group Treasurers and Regional CFOs.

. High energy level with a strong work ethic and a continuous desire to learn

. Strategic thinking and commercial acumen

. Fluency in English required additional Asian languages advantageous.
