As the Managing Director of a small interior design company, you will take full responsibility for all aspects of the business. This is a hands-on role where you will manage sales, handle projects from start to finish, oversee site operations, and coordinate administrative tasks. The role requires a proactive, versatile individual who can balance client relations, operational management, and design execution independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Client Relations:
Identify and engage potential clients to generate business.
Manage client consultations, proposals, and contracts.
Maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers. - Project Management:
Plan, coordinate, and execute projects from concept to completion.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
Ensure work meets design quality standards and client expectations. - Site Management:
Oversee site operations personally, including contractor coordination.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and timeline requirements.
Troubleshoot on-site issues promptly. - Administrative Duties:
Handle all office administration, including invoicing, budgeting, and reporting.
Maintain records, contracts, and project documentation.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. - Business Growth & Development:
Identify market opportunities and develop strategies for expansion.
Stay updated on interior design trends and industry practices.
Promote the company's services to grow brand presence and reputation.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 8 -10 years of experience in interior design, with a strong track record in managing projects independently.
- Experience in sales, project management, site supervision, and administration is essential.
Skills & Competencies:
