This role presents a strategic opportunity for a seasoned actuary to lead and elevate the IFRS 17 Participating (Par) portfolio reporting and production processes. As a key contributor to the organization's mission of delivering accurate, timely, and highquality financial insights, this position drives core valuation, reporting, and modernization initiatives that support strong governance and decision-making. The successful candidate will gain leadership exposure, ownership of critical actuarial processes, and the chance to shape methodologies and systems as the company advances its IFRS 17 capabilities. They will also deepen their expertise by acting as a subject matter expert, mentoring junior team members, and steering major transformation efforts such as the Actuarial Data Modernization project.
Position Responsibilities:
Overall coordinator of Qua rter End Production and UAT in IFRS17 team
Oversees reporting of Participating portfolio in IFRS17 valuation
Communicate with management on matters requiring their attention
Provide guidance, review and training to juniors
Refining and enhancing Par process and methodology related to IFRS17
Being the reviewer and subject matter expert for Par new product modelling and reporting
In charge of Par in Annual Basis Change and other annual reporting tasks
Lead Par team to test and ensure smooth transition into Production, in Actuarial Data Modernization project and other initiatives to enhance IFRS17 process
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Actuary from a recognized Actuarial examination body.
8 years or above of Actuarial working experience, with some experience in IFRS 17 is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
Ability to manage and drive project completion within timeline.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with other departments and Group / Regional office.
Strong ownership mindset.
Working knowledge of AXIS will be an advantage
