Job Description
As Manager, Total Rewards, you will play a key role in shaping and enhancing the Rewards and Well Being framework, supporting initiatives across performance management, rewards, and benefits. As part of a high-impact team, you will partner closely with People & Culture (HR) Business Partners, Business Leaders, Finance, and external consultants to deliver competitive, compliant, and scalable rewards practices across the NCS Group.
This role offers a unique blend of strategic design and hands-on execution, spanning diverse programs across multiple geographies. Operating in a complex and rapidly evolving environment, you will navigate diverse regulatory landscapes, shifting talent markets, and emerging workforce trends shaped by digital transformation and AI adoption. You will bring strong analytical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity, making informed decisions even when data is evolving as we shape the future of work.
What will you do
Rewards and Well-being Policies and Processes
- Develop and enhance rewards policies, compensation frameworks, salary structures and incentive plans to attract, motivate, and retain talent across diverse business units and geographies.
- Conduct market benchmarking and analysis to ensure competitive and cost-effective rewards and well being programs across APAC markets in a fast-changing talent landscape, aligned with business needs.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of rewards programs, including vendor partnerships (e.g., Mercer, WTW, Radford), job matching and survey submissions, regional and country-specific benefits, and rollout of initiatives supported by clear internal communications.
- Drive continuous improvement through HR transformation initiatives, including system implementation, process automation, and AI-enabled solutions, while partnering cross-functionally with people partners, leadership teams and other stakeholders to deliver key projects.
Rewards and Well Being Advisory and Business Partnering
- Partner with People & Culture Business Partners to provide strategic advisory on performance and rewards matters, including effective resolution of employee queries.
- Provide data-driven insights on pay decisions, promotions, and offers, particularly for niche and emerging skill areas (e.g., AI, data, digital roles).
- Oversee governance of sales commission, incentive, and job evaluation frameworks, including role evaluation and stakeholder briefings, ensuring market competitiveness, alignment with organisational objectives, and robust documentation.
- Conduct market research and review processes, guidelines, allowances, and programs to drive optimisation and leverage technology to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
Annual Reviews
- Support group-wide performance management and calibration exercises, partnering with People & Culture Business Partners to deliver for assigned business units.
- Deliver end-to-end remuneration reviews (salary, bonus, promotions) with high degree of accuracy, within budget and timelines.
- Maintain and support HR systems, including setup, enhancements, and testing, ensuring data integrity.
- Drive process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
Compliance and Governance
- Ensure rewards and well being policies and guidelines comply with local labour laws and applicable regulations. Keep abreast of and navigate regulatory complexity and frequent changes across markets we operate in.
- Support strong corporate governance through periodic review and analysis of rewards policies and processes.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure audit readiness across policies, guidelines and review processes.
- Support internal and external audits where required.
Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; IHRP certification preferred
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in IT/Tech, ICT, or professional services, with exposure to regional or multi-APAC workforce environments (e.g. Singapore, China, India, Australia, etc)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and collaborate across teams
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and project management skills, driving process improvements and enhancing employee experience
- Good understanding of compensation structures, benefits practices, and job evaluation methodologies across APAC markets
- Familiarity with compensation benchmarking tools (e.g., Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, Aon/Radford) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Exposure to HR analytics and/or AI-driven HR tools is an advantage
