Job Description

The Manager, Therapy Hub plays a key role in strengthening the service ecosystem to support the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the community. This role oversees therapy hub programmes, ensuring the quality, effectiveness, and sustainability of services. The manager will be responsible for programme planning and delivery, team development, stakeholder engagement, data-driven reporting, and compliance with funder and regulatory requirements.

Registered therapists, trained social workers, or psychologists who wish to continue professional practice may allocate up to 20% of their time for direct clinical work.

Job Responsibilities

Program and Operations Management

  • Plan, implement, and manage therapy hub services to meet funder and organisational KPIs.
  • Lead service design, delivery, and evaluation in collaboration with internal teams and external partner organisations.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, workflows and best practice.
  • Oversee contract preparation, service agreements, and partnership renewals including conducting biannual/annual reviews with service partners.
  • Develop and drive strategic planning efforts for the department e.g. improve service offerings and grow partner base.
  • Support marketing and outreach initiatives to increase awareness of services.
  • Monitor service quality and compliance with workplace safety, infection control, and sector best practices.
  • Coordinate and manage audits, including data preparation and follow-up.

People and Team Development

  • Lead and develop administrative staff.
  • Provide supervision, coaching, and performance management, including appraisals, career development, and staff development plans.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and cross-disciplinary learning within the division.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, assignment planning, deployment of manpower and approval of leave and allowances.
  • Foster a team culture focused on continuous improvement, high service standards, and client-centered practices.

Administrative Oversight and Reporting

  • Establish and maintain administrative and operating policies to support efficient service delivery and good governance.
  • Manage data collection systems to ensure accuracy and completeness for funder reporting. Work with service divisions to compile data for funders reporting.
  • Track service outputs and outcomes prepare timely and accurate reports for funders and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with finance and management teams to prepare programme budgets and monitor expenditures and asset replacement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to licensing, safety, and internal controls.

Stakeholders and Client Management

  • Serve as a primary liaison with partner organisations, funders, and community stakeholders.
  • Manage feedback and queries from partners and stakeholders in a responsive and professional manner.
  • Build strategic partnerships and networks to promote inclusive practices and raise awareness of sector enabler initiatives.

Other Duties

  • Represent SPD at events and contribute to relevant sector forums and communities of practice.
  • Engage in any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

  1. Master or Bachelor degree in a relevant field would be an advantage (e.g. Healthcare management, Public Health, Allied Health).
  2. At least 5 years of experience in healthcare and/or therapy services management.
  3. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills to manage service operations and ensure compliance/audit readiness.
  4. Strong skills in planning, project management, and monitoring and evaluation (including data analysis and reporting).
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across professional groups.
