Job Description

Temasek Foundation (TF) supports a diverse range of programmes that connects people, uplifts communities, protects our planet and advances capabilities in Singapore, Asia and beyond. Temasek Foundation's programmes, made possible through philanthropic endowments gifted by Temasek, strive towards achieving positive outcomes for individuals and communities now, and for generations to come.

The Manager (Strategic Comms & Alumni Engagement) is responsible for coordinating and executing TF's public-facing engagement activations and alumni engagement operations. This includes working closely with Associate Director (Strategic Comms & Alumni Engagement), as well as with Programme and Communications Teams, through a cross-team Strategic Engagement Committee, to implement activations in TF's signature cause areas, managing the alumni database and community engagement activities under the TF & Friends (TFF) framework, and serving as the day-to-day liaison with the external vendor/agency. You will play a key role in translating strategic engagement plans into on-the-ground delivery, ensuring consistent quality across events, communications, and digital touchpoints.

Reporting to Head (Corporate Development), the Manager (Strategic Comms & Alumni Engagement) is responsible for the following:

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Programmes and Communications Teams through the Strategic Engagement Committee to identify, co-curate, and implement public-facing activations – such as pop-ups, roadshows, community clinics, and challenge tracks – aligned with TF's signature cause areas and brand narrative.
  • Plan and deliver alumni engagement activities under the TFF framework, including meet-ups, community events, alumni spotlights, and online/offline touchpoints, as well as embedding alumni in programme activations as volunteers, speakers, and mentors.
  • Serve as the day-to-day liaison with the external vendor/agency on event logistics, creative briefs, deliverables, and production timelines, ensuring work is delivered on brief, on time, and within budget.
  • Manage alumni communications, database updates, digital touchpoints, participation tracking, follow-ups, and other alumni operations to maintain an active and engaged alumni community.
  • Support the build-up of alumni engagement infrastructure: CRM/database setup and segmentation, digital platform onboarding, tiered engagement workflows, and chapter coordination processes.
  • Track operational KPIs, including event attendance, alumni database growth, platform engagement, and content reach, as well as compile presentation decks to update Board/management.
  • Manage day-to-day programme communications and publicity budgets for engagement activities, ensuring optimal utilisation towards objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, events management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in events coordination, community engagement, alumni relations, or programme marketing, preferably in the non-profit, public, or social sector.
  • Familiarity with CRM or database management systems and community engagement platforms.
  • Experience coordinating events and activations, including vendor/agency liaison and logistics management.
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines across concurrent projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in tracking KPIs and preparing reports and dashboards.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • A strong command of the English language.
  • Experience with content creation or digital communications is a plus.
